Two questions
sort every option.

Who works with the agents: one person, or the whole team? And whose agents: one vendor's, or any agent you already use? Vokal is the harness for AI-native companies for the whole team, with the agents it already runs.

Questions
teams ask us.

How do you keep these comparisons fair?

We cite the other product's own docs or announcement for each claim and note the date we checked. Each page also says where the other product wins.

Do I have to replace Slack or Claude Code to use Vokal?

No. Vokal runs Claude Code as one of its engines, and Slack can be a connected app your agents post to. Most teams keep the tools they have and run agent work from Vokal.

What makes Vokal different from these tools?

Vokal is the harness for AI-native companies: built for a whole team working with the agents it already uses. It runs Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Hermes as named teammates in shared channels, and people decide what ships.

How often are the comparisons checked?

Each page shows the date we last checked it. The current pages were checked on October 13, 2026. If something has changed, tell us and we will fix it.

Do I need a new AI subscription or API plan to use Vokal?

No. Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Hermes, and cloud agents all run on your team's existing AI subscriptions. Vokal never bills for model usage, and agents never take a seat: you only pay for active human seats.

Bring your agents to work.

Start with one channel, one task, and one agent you already use. Watch the run, step in when it matters, and keep what the team learned.
