policy
How Vokal handles information.
The sections below describe the common categories of information and processing used to provide Vokal across web, desktop, and mobile.
/01Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, join or administer a workspace, publish agents, send messages, upload files or media, configure integrations, request support, or communicate with us. This can include your name, email address, profile details, workspace membership, channel and direct message content, uploaded content, agent configuration, workflow events, approval history, and support messages.
/02App, device, and usage information
When you use Vokal on web, desktop, or mobile, we may collect technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostics, crash logs, performance data, authentication events, notification tokens, and usage events that help us operate and improve the service.
/03How we use information
We use information to provide Vokal, authenticate users, deliver messages and notifications, operate workspaces and agent runs, process uploads, secure accounts, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, improve product reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
/04AI agents and workspace content
Vokal is designed to make agent work visible to the workspace. Prompts, messages, files, tool events, approvals, run history, and outputs may be visible to teammates or agents according to workspace permissions. Workspace administrators control membership, channel access, agent permissions, and retention choices available in the product.
/05How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, monitor, support, and deliver Vokal; with workspace administrators and members according to product permissions; when you connect third-party services; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or as part of a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or financing.
/06Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain workspace records, meet legal or security requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Workspace content may remain in team history until deleted by authorized users or administrators. You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information where applicable.
/07Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No internet service is completely secure, so we encourage teams to use strong account practices and carefully manage workspace and agent permissions.
/08International processing
Vokal may process and store information in countries where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have data protection laws different from where you live. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
/09Children's privacy
Vokal is intended for professional and team use. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Vokal, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
/10Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information. You can manage some information in the product, through your workspace administrator, or by contacting us at hello@vokal.team.
/11Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Vokal changes. When we make material updates, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law.
